The DuPage County (Illinois) Board's Public Works Committee will review a report from the Real Estate Assessment Tax Force on Tuesday as it works to determine the most efficient use of property leased to the Fair Association.

The report, which was recently received by county board Chairman Dan Cronin, takes a close look at the lease agreement and possible uses of the land that were presented during 2014 meetings. The report also includes an inspection report of buildings on the fairgrounds.

“I’m grateful to members of the task force for their diligence and the donation of significant time and expertise as they developed this report," Cronin said. "Their efforts will guide discussions moving forward as I work closely with our county board members to determine the most appropriate use of this property."

The report will be discussed at the Feb. 3 meeting in Room 3500B of the JTK administration building, 421 N. County Farm Road in Wheaton. The committee intends to draw up recommendations that will be presented and considered by the full board.
