Six student-athletes from the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) have been named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-Region VIII Team. The announcement was made Wednesday afternoon.

The selection process for the Scholar All-Region Team requires nominees to meet several criteria. Student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale throughout their careers, start more than half of all games and be significant contributors to their teams. They must also be nominated by an institution that is a current member of United Soccer Coaches, hold junior or higher academic standing at their institution, be in their second year if they are transfer students, and provide an official certified transcript.

This year’s honorees from CCIW include Jack Krahel from Wheaton on the First Team; Jerry Smazil from Illinois Wesleyan and Wes Seneff from Wheaton on the Second Team; and Ryder Coleman, Kalabi Kamau (both from Illinois Wesleyan), and Joris Rijnja from North Central on the Third Team.
