Q4 2022 Recap: 1 parolee from Dupage County convicted of sex crimes set for release

There was one offender convicted of a sex crime living in Dupage County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the DuPage Policy Journal.

The data shows the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2021 when he was 60 years old. He is now 61. He was a veteran.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
