Q3 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Wood Dale?
There were two offenders released on parole during the third quarter that live in Wood Dale zip codes, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by DuPage Policy Journal.
The data shows that both of the released offenders in Wood Dale were men. The younger parolee was a 43-year-old man sentenced in 2018. The other was a 44-year-old man sentenced in 2012.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jesus Hernandez. He was convicted in 2012 when he was 36 years old. He is now 44.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
