Q1 2019 parolees recap: who was paroled in Wood Dale?
There were three offenders released on parole during the first quarter that live in Wood Dale zip codes, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by DuPage Policy Journal.
The data shows that all of the released offenders in Wood Dale were men. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee is a 24-year-old man sentenced for property crimes in 2016, and the oldest is a 53-year-old man sentenced for property crimes in 2014.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Paul Maior. He was convicted of property crimes in 2014 when he was 48 years old. He is now 53.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
