Lisle releases September mosquito-activity report
Lisle Township recently posted a mosquito status report for September. The report indicated much of the Chicago area was impacted by three to four major floodwater mosquito-annoyance periods. "The above-normal temperature pattern, including three days in the 90s and 15 days at 80 degrees or above, created ideal conditions for the mosquitoes to be a significant factor," the report said.
