North Central's Biz Daly recognized as CCIW women's basketball student-athlete of the week

North Central College’s Biz Daly has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week in women’s basketball. Daly received the honor after her performance in North Central’s 79-58 win over North Park on Saturday.

Daly, a junior from Peoria, Illinois, scored 22 points in 25 minutes during the game. She made eight out of eleven field-goal attempts, with all her points coming from inside the paint. Her efforts helped North Central improve to a 2-1 record in CCIW play.

She opened the scoring for the Cardinals and contributed six of their first seven points, helping her team establish an early lead. In addition to her scoring, Daly recorded five rebounds, two blocks, and three assists. She also made six out of eight free throws.
