Kate Gross helps Chicago Maroons defeat UW Whitewater in NCAA Division III tournament
On Saturday, March 7, Kate Gross, a Downers Grove North High School alum, contributed to her current team, the Chicago Maroons, as they secured a 62-46 victory over the UW Whitewater Warhawks in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The competition was played in Williams Center at 7:15 p.m. This marked the Maroons’ first meeting with the Warhawks during the tournament.
Chicago’s next tournament game is scheduled for Friday, March 13, at 5:30 p.m. at Oshkosh Arena.
