Former Hinsdale Central High School player Jon Adams took the field Saturday, June 27, at 7:35 p.m., as the Nashville Sounds were defeated 8-5 by the Gwinnett Stripers in MiLB play.
The matchup at First Horizon Park marked the 17th time the two teams faced off this season, with the Sounds now behind 8-9 in the season series.
Adams finished without a hit in 4 at-bats, recording 1 strikeout and leaving 3 men on base.
The Sounds return to action Sunday, June 28, at First Horizon Park in a scheduled game against the Nashville Sounds.
