Illinois Wesleyan wins NCAA Division III opener with Sawyer White on roster

On Friday, March 6, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, featuring former Montini Catholic High School standout Sawyer White, defeated the Washington & Jefferson Presidents 61-53 in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, held at DeVos Fieldhouse at 6 p.m., marked the Titans' first game against the Washington & Jefferson Presidents in the tournament.
Illinois Wesleyan will play again on Saturday, March 7 at 8:30 p.m. at DeVos Fieldhouse.
