Illinois Wesleyan University’s men’s basketball team has advanced to No. 15 in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 rankings, according to information released Monday. The Titans, who have now won six consecutive games, moved up from their previous position at No. 18 after another successful week at home.

The Titans currently hold a 12-3 overall record and are 4-2 in College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) competition. They remain the only CCIW team represented in the national Top 25 rankings.

During last Wednesday’s game against Augustana, Illinois Wesleyan set a modern-era program record by blocking 11 shots. Senior Nathan Boldt contributed nearly half of those blocks, achieving an individual modern-era record with five. Offensively, three players—Noah Cleveland, Karlo Colak, and Casen Lawrence—each scored more than 20 points.

On Saturday, Illinois Wesleyan defeated North Park with a score of 79-59. Junior Mason Funk recorded a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Noah Cleveland added his tenth double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds as well. The Titans maintained the lead for the entire game.

Illinois Wesleyan is scheduled to play next on Saturday when they travel to Wheaton for a game at King Arena starting at 7:15 p.m.

Carthage College also received recognition in Monday’s poll by earning eight points.
