Illinois Fighting Illini win NCAA opener with former Benet Academy star Blake Fagbemi

Former Benet Academy standout Blake Fagbemi helped lead his collegiate team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, to a 76-55 win over the VCU Rams in the NCAA Tournament game held Saturday, March 21.
The matchup tipped off at 6:50 p.m. at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
Illinois is scheduled to play again on Thursday, March 26, at 9:05 p.m. at Toyota Center.
