George Wolkow appears for Winston-Salem Dash in 8-4 loss to Greensboro Grasshoppers

The Winston-Salem Dash dropped their MiLB game against the Greensboro Grasshoppers 8-4 on Friday, May 22, at 5:05 p.m., featuring former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow on the roster.

First National Bank Field hosted the teams’ 10th matchup of the season, leaving the Dash and Grasshoppers tied 5-5 in the season series.

Wolkow recorded one hit in three at-bats, scored a run, struck out once and stranded two runners.

The Dash are set to play the Grasshoppers again at First National Bank Field on Saturday, May 23.
