George Wolkow and Winston-Salem Dash fall 10-5 to Greenville Drive
Winston-Salem Dash, featuring former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow, suffered a 10-5 defeat to the Greenville Drive in their MiLB matchup at 6:45 p.m. Friday, June 12.
The contest was held at Fluor Field at the West End and marked the fourth meeting between the two teams this season. The Dash now trail the Drive in the season series, 1-3.
Wolkow recorded no hits in 3 at-bats, drew 1 walk, struck out once and stranded 2 runners.
The Dash are set to take on the Drive again at Fluor Field at the West End on Saturday, June 13.
