CHMS Pizza Wars event draws over 475 attendees and names Sarpino's as winner

The CHMS Parent Teacher Organization brought together the Eagles community on April 15 for the annual Pizza Wars event, which saw a record turnout of more than 475 students, parents, and incoming sixth graders from feeder elementary schools. Attendees sampled pizza from Brama La Pizza, Billy Brick's, Mrs. T's, and Sarpino's, with Sarpino's being voted as the favorite among participants.

The event featured not only pizza tasting but also charcuterie provided by local business Gone Grazy and custom cotton candy. Guests could take photos in a booth to remember the evening. Entertainment included a student talent show and a performance by the CHMS teacher and staff band "After School Special," which closed out the night.

Hinsdale Community Consolidated School District 181 includes Clarendon Hills Middle School along with Elm Elementary School, Hinsdale Middle School, Madison Elementary School, Monroe Elementary School, Oak Elementary School, Prospect Elementary School, The Lane Elementary School, and Walker School according to Illinois Report Card. The district serves DuPage and Cook counties.
