2018 Recap: Parolees near Illinois zip code 60148 convicted of property crimes

There were nine offenders convicted of property crimes released on parole near Illinois zip code 60148 during 2018, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the DuPage Policy Journal.

The data shows that eight men and one woman were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for property crimes was 42. The youngest parolee was a 30-year-old man sentenced in 2014, and the oldest was a 55-year-old man sentenced in 2018.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Donald C. Petracek. He was convicted of a property crime in 2014 when he was 38 years old. He is now 43.
