b) Approval to purchase fire station alerting infrastructure for fire dispatch from Chicago Communications and Motorola Systems in the total amount of  $34,250.25; funding from account #9940-4601

c) Approval of a one year contract extension of Bid #16-2-2 for the 2017 Spring Tree Planting to Brancato Landscaping of Elk Grove Village IL in the amount of $80 per tree; funding from account #2510-4110 

d) Approval of a three year extension of agreement with Sikich LLP as independent Village auditors

SEPARATE VOTE:

e) Approval to purchase a turbo blower for the North Wastewater Facility from APG-Neuros of Quebec, Canada in the not-to-exceed amount of $168,657.00; funding from account #5032-4304.

8. ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS

a) FIRST READING OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE V OF

CHAPTER 30 OF THE ADDISON VILLAGE CODE (COMMUNITY SERVICE)

At their meeting on January 23rd, the Public Health, Safety, and Judicial Committee reviewed this Ordinance, which amends Chapter 30 of the Village Code pertaining to the imposition of community service at Administrative Adjudication hearings.

The Committee recommended approval and first reading is requested. Public Health, Safety & Judicial

b) FIRST READING OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 3, ARTICLE I OF THE ADDISON VILLAGE CODE (TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSES) At their meeting on January 23rd, the Public Health, Safety, and Judicial Committee reviewed this Ordinance, which amends Chapter 3 of the Village Code pertaining to temporary liquor licenses. The Committee recommended approval and first reading is requested. Public Health, Safety & Judicial

c) FIRST READING OF AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A GRANT OF EASEMENT TO NICOR GAS COMPANY FOR PURPOSES OF EXTENDING THE GAS MAIN TO THE NEW 9-1-1 CENTER AT 1471 W. JEFFREY DRIVE At their meeting earlier this evening, the Finance & Policy Committee reviewed this Ordinance, which approves a grant of easement to Nicor Gas to extend the gas main to the new 9-1-1 center at 1471 W. Jeffrey Drive. The Committee recommended approval and waiver of second reading has been requested by Staff. The Attorney is asked to read the Ordinance. Finance & Policy

d) FIRST READING OF AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND PLACING THE 2017 ZONING DISTRICT MAP ON RECORD At their meeting earlier this evening, the Finance & Policy Committee reviewed this Ordinance, which approves and places the Zoning District Map on record. The Committee recommended approval and first reading is requested. Finance & Policy

e) CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE  LEGISLATIVE ACTION PROGRAM OF THE DUPAGE MAYORS AND MANAGERS CONFERENCE FOR THE 2017 LEGISLATIVE SESSION At their meeting earlier this evening, the Finance & Policy Committee reviewed this Resolution, which adopts the Legislative Priorities of the DuPage Mayors and  Managers Conference. The Committee recommended approval and the Attorney is asked to read the Resolution.

f) CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING FREEDOM OF INFORMATION OFFICERS AND OPEN MEETINGS OFFICERS FOR THE VILLAGE

At their meeting earlier this evening, the Finance & Policy Committee reviewed this Resolution, which designates the Village’s Freedom of Information Officers and Open Meetings Officers. The Committee recommended approval and the Attorney is asked to read the Resolution.
