W. Chicago Police Pension Fund Board to hire accountant Thursday

The West Chicago Police Pension Fund Board of Trustees is expected to approve the hiring of accounting firm Lauterbach & Amen during its  regular meeting at 9 a.m. on Thursday in Room A at City Hall, 475 Main St., West Chicago.

Trustees will accept recently hired police officers to participate in the fund, schedule doctor’s exams for disabled officers under age 50 and approve the proposed cost of living adjustments (COLAs) for 2016.

Lauterbach and Amen has been selected as the fund’s accountant for fiscal 2015, 2016 and 2017, and also will provide actuarial services for fiscal 2016.

The board also is expected to interview prospective investment consultants and investment managers and possibly approve the hiring of a consultant or manager.
