Wednesday, July 8, at 6:35 p.m., the Winston-Salem Dash — the current team of former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow — defeated the Asheville Tourists 15-9 in a MiLB game.
The game was played at HomeTrust Park. It was the eighth meeting between the teams this season, with the Dash leading the series 6-2.
Wolkow went 3-for-6, scored 2 runs, had 2 RBIs and left 3 runners on base.
The Dash's next game is Thursday, July 9, at HomeTrust Park against the Tourists.
