Winston-Salem Dash earn 5-4 victory over Greensboro Grasshoppers on June 17

On Wednesday, June 17, at 6:30 p.m., the Winston-Salem Dash, featuring former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow, secured a 5-4 win over the Greensboro Grasshoppers in their MiLB contest.
The matchup was held at Truist Stadium and marked the teams’ 14th meeting of the season, with the Dash now trailing 6-8 in the seasonal series against the Grasshoppers.
Wolkow recorded two hits in four at-bats, notched 1 run, struck out twice, and stranded 1 runner on base.
The Dash are set to take the field again at Truist Stadium on Thursday, June 18, for another game against the Winston-Salem Dash.
