On Wednesday, April 23, former Wheaton North High School standout Erin Metz’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
The game took place at Melissa Cook Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Irish this season.
The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 12:05 p.m. at Valpo Softball Complex against Drake Bulldogs.
