Thursday, July 9: Naperville North High School standout Nicholas Solak’s team, El Paso Chihuahuas, lose 6-3 to Oklahoma City Comets

On Thursday, July 9, at 8:05 p.m., the El Paso Chihuahuas — the current team of former Naperville North High School standout Nicholas Solak — lost 6-3 to the Oklahoma City Comets in a MiLB game.

The game took place at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. It was the third meeting between the teams this season, with the Chihuahuas trailing 1-2 in the season series against the Comets.

Solak went hitless in four at-bats, struck out twice and left three runners on base.

The Chihuahuas’ next game is scheduled for Friday, July 10, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark against the Comets.
