Illinois Wesleyan University senior Adriana Crabtree has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week in women’s cross country for the fourth consecutive time. This recognition marks a first in CCIW history for a women’s cross country runner.

Crabtree placed 21st in the B race at the Nuttycombe Invitational held in Madison, Wisconsin, last Saturday. She competed against exclusively Division I athletes and completed the course in 21:51, finishing ahead of nearly 60 other runners.

According to the CCIW, Crabtree is also the first student-athlete from the conference to receive weekly honors five times within a single season since Amanda Laesch of North Central achieved this in 2010.
