A. Minutes of the September 8, 2025, Public Works & Building Committee:

Ald. Baker motioned to approve the September 8, 2025 Minutes of the Public Works & Building Committee; Ald. Irby seconded Voice vote. Motion carried 3-0 (Bastedo, Baker, Irby). Minutes approved.

B. 2026 CEB Discussion

Public Works Director Balicki presented the agenda item.

C. Police Station A/E Services Contract:

City Engineer Sianis presented the agenda item. Ald. Bram motioned to approve the draft report; Ald. Irby seconded. Voice vote. Motion carried 4-0 (Bastedo, Bram, Baker, Irby)  Report approved.

D. Crockett Avenue ROW Vacation - Wagner Center:

City Engineer Sianis presented the agenda item. Ald. Irby motioned to approve the draft report; Ald. Baker seconded. Voice vote. Motion carried 4-0 (Bastedo, Bram, Baker, Irby)  Report approved.

E. North Graue Woods Stormwater Improvements Design Engineering Services:

City Engineer Sianis presented the agenda item. Ald. Bram motioned to approve the draft report; Ald. Irby seconded. Voice vote. Motion carried 4-0 (Bastedo, Bram, Baker, Irby) Report approved.

F. Professional Engineering Services for 2026 Sanitary Sewer and Manhole Rehabilitation:

Public Works Director Balicki presented the agenda item. Ald. Bram motioned to approve the draft report; Ald. Baker seconded. Voice vote. Motion carried 4-0 (Bastedo, Bram, Baker, Irby)  Report approved.

G. Contract Amendment #1 to the Construction Agreement for the 2024 Sanitary Sewer Improvements and Force Main Replacements Project:

Public Works Director Balicki presented the agenda item. Ald. Baker motioned to approve the draft report; Ald. Irby seconded. Voice vote. Motion carried 3-1 (Bastedo, Baker, Irby) Report approved.

6. Other Business:

• N. York Lighting Islands bid opening will be 9/30/25. 

• Ald. Bastedo asked for clarification on Lead Service Line Replacement per IEPA

• Ald. Baker thanked Public Works Operations Staff for fixing the sinkhole on Park Ave.
