Carroll University junior Ava Butt has been named the first College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Bowling Student-Athlete of the Week for the 2025-26 season, according to an announcement from the league office on Wednesday.

Butt, who is from Wautoma, Wisconsin, was last season's CCIW Student-Athlete of the Year. She played a key role in helping the Carroll Pioneers secure a fourth-place qualification for match play at the Warhawk Classic, which took place last weekend in Rockford, Illinois and was hosted by Wisconsin-Whitewater.

During the tournament, Butt finished third among individual competitors and received all-tournament honors. She averaged a score of 189.6, recorded strikes on 39 percent of her attempts, and achieved nearly 78 percent overall fill on her frames.
