Illinois Wesleyan University freshman Addison Krouse has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week in women’s golf. The announcement was made on Wednesday.

Krouse secured her first collegiate win at Millikin University’s Dechert Classic, held last Saturday in Decatur, Illinois. She completed the two-day tournament with a total score of 160. After an opening round of 81, which placed her second, she finished with a final round 79 at the South Side Country Club course. The event was played on a par-72 layout measuring 5,600 yards.

Her performance helped lead Illinois Wesleyan to an 11-shot team victory over Coe College. Krouse's total score marked a personal best for her college career.

The CCIW also listed previous recipients of its Women’s Golf Student-Athlete of the Week award for the 2025-26 season: Sarah Bond from Augustana on September 24, Gigi Zera from Illinois Wesleyan on September 17, Lexi Manteufel from Carthage on September 10, and Lauren Reinertson from Augustana on September 3.
