North Park University’s men’s soccer team has been ranked 16th in the latest Division III poll released by United Soccer Coaches. The announcement came Tuesday from Kansas City, Missouri.
The Vikings have started their season with a 5-1-0 record. Their most recent game was a 2-1 comeback win against Wisconsin-Whitewater, where they scored both goals in the last 15 minutes of play.
Denison holds the top spot in the new rankings, followed by Emory, Augsburg, Williams, and Trinity (Texas).
A scheduled match between North Park and Kalamazoo was canceled due to weather conditions. North Park will begin its College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) schedule on Saturday with a game at Augustana set for 5 p.m.
