Seth Lewis, Illinois State Senator for 24th District | Illinois General Assembly
State Senator Seth Lewis and State Representative Amy Grant are organizing a free seminar aimed at helping residents understand the federal Medicare program. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 1, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Winfield Park District in Winfield.
According to Senator Lewis, "The federal Medicare system can be tricky to navigate, and it is important that enrollees ensure they have adequate coverage between Medicare and supplemental plans that are available. We are bringing in experts that can help current enrollees understand the system, and help those approaching Medicare eligibility prepare to apply for coverage."
Representatives from the Illinois Department on Aging will provide an overview of topics such as eligibility, enrollment, benefits, and other information about Medicare. There will also be a question and answer session for attendees.
Senator Lewis was elected as a Republican to represent Illinois' 24th Senate District in 2023, succeeding Suzy Glowiak.
