North Park University's men's soccer team has advanced to the No. 7 position in the latest national poll by United Soccer Coaches, announced Tuesday. The Vikings improved their ranking by one spot after remaining unbeaten with a 4-0-0 record.
Their most recent victory was a 2-0 win on the road against MSOE last Wednesday, keeping North Park among just six teams in the top 25 without a loss or draw this season. The team is scheduled to play next at Washington University in St. Louis on Wednesday afternoon.
In other rankings, Denison held onto its position as the top-ranked Division III team. Rowan and Emory also remained unchanged at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively. Trinity (Texas) moved up two places to fourth, while Augsburg climbed two spots to fifth.
