State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro (R-Hanover Park) will host a free Community Shred Event for residents of the 48th District on Saturday, October 11, 2025. The event is scheduled to take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Isidore Parish, located at 427 W. Army Trail Rd., Bloomingdale.
The shred event aims to help residents securely dispose of personal documents and sensitive paperwork. Attendees can use a secure, drive-up service for convenience. There is a limit of two banker’s boxes per vehicle, and shredding will be available while supplies last.
“Protecting your privacy is so important, and this event gives residents an easy and secure way to safely get rid of sensitive documents,” said Rep. Sanalitro. “I encourage anyone with old paperwork to take advantage of this free service.”
Rep. Sanalitro was elected in 2023 as a Republican to represent Illinois’ 48th House District, succeeding former representative Terra Costa Howard.
