State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro (R-Hanover Park) recently convened a Police and Fire Roundtable in DuPage County to discuss public safety priorities with local leaders from the 48th District. The event brought together police chiefs, fire chiefs, public safety directors, deputies, and mayors from several communities, including Bloomingdale, Elk Grove Village, Addison, Wood Dale, Itasca, Carol Stream, and Hanover Park.
Participants at the roundtable shared updates and discussed the needs and concerns of their departments. Sanalitro emphasized the importance of supporting first responders in her district.
“Law enforcement and fire protection services are vital to keeping our neighborhoods safe and resilient,” said Rep. Sanalitro. “Bringing these leaders together is a key step in making sure our police officers have the tools they need, our firefighters have safe equipment to respond to emergencies, and EMS professionals have the resources to save lives. I remain committed to supporting our first responders in Springfield and being their voice in state government.”
Sanalitro intends to continue organizing similar events to maintain communication with local public safety personnel.
