City of Elmhurst Public Affairs & Safety Committee met Aug. 11

Here is the agenda provided by the committee:

The City of Elmhurst has been conducting public meetings to remain in compliance with the following rules set forth:

Public Comment

• Persons wishing to speak during Public Forum must sign in prior to the Meeting.

• Public comment is limited to three minutes.

• Speakers will be called upon in the order that the requests are received.

• Participants are only allowed to participate in the Public Forum portion of the agenda.

• Participants are subject to be videotaped or photographed, once signed up for public comment.

Written Communication

• All written communication documents must be labeled written communication.

• Written communication must identify the meeting title and date.

• Written communication must be submitted in advance, to the City Clerk’s Office by email to [email protected] or in person no later than 5:00 p.m. on the night of the meeting.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Electronic Communication Devices may be “on,” but must be set to a silent /vibrate mode.

• Individuals must exit the Council Chambers when using Electronic Communication Devices to send or receive audio or text messages.

• Any person who has a disability requiring a reasonable accommodation to participate in this meeting, should contact Emily Palm, ADA Compliance Officer, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., City of Elmhurst, 209 N.
