State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro of Hanover Park has unveiled a series of summer events aimed at engaging families, seniors, and community members throughout the 48th District. The events, which include mobile resources and safety expos, are part of an initiative to bring government services closer to residents.
“These events are all about meeting people where they are and making government more accessible,” said Rep. Sanalitro. “Whether you’re looking for unclaimed property, senior resources, or family-friendly fun, there’s something for everyone this summer.”
The lineup includes:
- An ICASH event on June 18 at Wood Dale Public Library where residents can check for unclaimed property between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
- An open house on June 24 in Carol Stream with Rep. Sanalitro and Senator Seth Lewis to introduce their new district office.
- A Senior Expo on July 31 in Roselle offering free screenings and resources for senior citizens.
- A Children’s Safety Expo on September 13 in Bloomingdale focusing on safety and wellness for kids.
- A Disabilities Resource Fair on September 18 in Carol Stream providing resources for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
