State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro and State Senator Seth Lewis are organizing a free seminar to educate residents about the Medicare program. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, in Itasca.
“The Medicare system can be overwhelming, especially for those approaching eligibility or navigating supplemental coverage options,” stated Rep. Sanalitro. “This seminar will provide expert guidance to help residents make confident, informed decisions about their healthcare.”
The Medicare 101 Seminar will take place from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Itasca Park District, located at 350 E. Irving Park Road. Representatives from the Illinois Department on Aging will lead discussions on topics including eligibility, enrollment, coverage options, and financial assistance programs. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions during a Q&A session.
“This is a great opportunity for current and future Medicare enrollees to get direct access to helpful information and resources,” added Sanalitro. “Whether you’re already enrolled or just starting to plan ahead, this session can help you better understand your options.”
