On the same day, Casten highlighted his legislative efforts to restrict Elon Musk's access to private data of American taxpayers. Expressing concerns over privacy, he stated, "Elon Musk has no business accessing American taxpayers’ private data." Sean Casten, who succeeded Peter Roskam in Illinois' 6th District and has been serving since 2019, was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1971 and is currently residing in Downers Grove. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College, obtained in 1993.
