Jeanne Ives, founder of Breakthrough Ideas, has commented on an abortion doctor involved in a malpractice lawsuit. She said that the doctor came to Illinois due to "market opportunity with lax laws, a university nearby and taxpayer support for abortion and his clinic." Ives made this statement in a post on X dated March 24, adding that Governor J.B. Pritzker provided the doctor with $101,915 of taxpayer money for a "security grant."
"The abortionist came to IL because he saw a market opportunity with lax laws, a university nearby and taxpayer support for abortion and his clinic," said Ives. "Last year Pritzker gave him $101,915 of taxpayer money for a "security grant."
According to The Federalist, Illinois abortion doctor Keith Reisinger-Kindle is accused of malpractice by a patient who claims she suffered severe complications from an abortion procedure. The patient alleges that Reisinger-Kindle performed a two-day procedure that resulted in a perforated uterus and other serious issues. At the time, she was 22 weeks pregnant. Two days later, she sought medical attention in Indiana and was diagnosed with further complications.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported that when the patient contacted the Equity Clinic about her condition after the procedure, Reisinger-Kindle advised her to use laxatives and Tylenol for pain relief. A surgeon involved in her subsequent care reached out to Reisinger-Kindle with questions but received no response due to lack of patient permission.
Documentation from a 2024 Reproductive Health Security Grant program indicates that Equity Clinic was one of five clinics awarded grants by the Illinois Department of Public Health to enhance security measures against potential attacks and harassment. The clinic received $101,915 as part of this initiative.
