The NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee has announced the participants for the 2025 NCAA Division III Championships. Tyler Leslie from Augustana has been named a national qualifier, marking the first time an Augie swimmer has achieved this since Jared Ekberg in 2019.

Leslie secured his spot with a time of 1:37.79 in the 200 freestyle, ranking him ninth nationally. He will also compete in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle events at the national meet, having placed within the top 50 for both.

"I am extremely proud of Tyler and the hard work and dedication he has put in for our program," said head coach Dan Lloyd. "He gives 100 percent in the classroom and the pool every day and his commitment to excellence in all he does has definitely paid off. He has had an outstanding season and this is an incredible achievement as the national meet is extremely difficult to make. I know he is excited and honored to represent our program, Augustana, and the CCIW at the national championships. This is a great day for our program."

The championships are scheduled for March 19-22 at Greensboro Aquatic Center in North Carolina, hosted by Old Dominion Athletic Conference alongside Greensboro Aquatic Center. A total of 579 participants, including 526 swimmers and 53 divers, will compete. Student-athletes qualified by meeting minimum time requirements for their events. The full list of competitors can be found at www.usaswimming.org/ncaa, with video streaming available on NCAA.com throughout the event.
