FOIA Request to City of Warrenville Regarding Building Permits on October 30, 2024.
The DuPage Policy Journal has submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the City of Warrenville in Illinois. The request, dated October 30, 2024, seeks comprehensive details about all new and active residential and commercial building permits issued from January 1, 2023, till the present date.
As a media organization committed to providing accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we have asked for specific fields related to these permits. For both new and active permits, we are seeking information on the type of permit, date issued, fee paid, requester's name, address of the property under construction or renovation, and the contractor's name.
We believe that access to public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities.
