11th Congressional District candidate Evans: ‘I’m proud to announce that I have received the endorsement of the Grafton Township Republican Central Committee’

Jerry Evans, a candidate for the 11th Congressional District, recently announced his endorsement from the Grafton Township Republican Central Committee. The committee, located in Huntley, voted on Wednesday night to officially endorse Evans as their favored candidate for the upcoming March primary in Illinois's 11th district.

"Endorsement: I'm proud to announce that I have received the endorsement of the Grafton Township Republican Central Committee," Evans said on Facebook.

In a statement released by the Grafton Township Republican Central Committee, they expressed their support for Evans, portraying him as a staunch conservative, successful businessman, and committed leader.

"Jerry is a strong conservative, businessman, and dedicated leader. Jerry has been a great friend to our organization and its members for years. Jerry is ready to fight for the people of this district and represent their needs in Washington," the Grafton Township Republican Central Committee said.

The committee underscored Evans' longstanding friendship with their organization and its members. They emphasized his readiness to champion the interests of the district's residents and represent their needs in Washington.

Responding to the endorsement, Evans conveyed humility and gratitude. He expressed being humbled by organization's vote of confidence in him and anticipates collaborating with them for a victorious campaign.

"By working together with dedicated and patriotic organizations like Grafton Township Republicans, our campaign can be successful in both March and November. I look forward to making them proud on the campaign trail," Evans said according to a press release.

Evans is a small business owner who founded a suburban music school. His campaign focuses on education and community service in the Chicago area. A graduate of Wheaton College with a degree in music, Evans now lives in Warrenville with his wife and sons. He is actively involved in mentoring programs, missionary training, and missions to India, Mexico, and South Africa as per his website.

The 11th Congressional District covers most of McHenry and Kane Counties and parts of Boone, Lake, DeKalb, DuPage, Cook, and Will Counties. It is currently represented by U.S. Rep. Bill Foster (D-Ill.). The district has a population of over 700,000 according to the Census Bureau.
