Niki Conforti, the GOP candidate for Congressional District 6, is hosting a fundraising event at Emmett’s Brewing Company on Main Street in Downers Grove on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event aims to gather support for Conforti's campaign and provide an opportunity for the community to meet the candidate.
"See you at Emmett’s Brewery in DG next week!!" Conforti expressed her excitement about the event.
Emmett’s Brewing Company, located at 5200 Main St. in Downers Grove, will be the venue for the fundraiser. Attendees can expect hors d’oeuvres included with their tickets and have the option of a cash bar for refreshments. Tickets for the event are available for $50, and supporters also have the opportunity to become sponsors at different levels, including a GOLD Sponsorship for $1,000, SILVER Sponsorship, and BRONZE Sponsorship for $250.

Conforti is seeking the GOP nomination to challenge U.S. Rep. Sean Casten (D-IL) for a second time. In the 2022 primary, Conforti came in third with 11.4% of the vote, while Orland Park Mayor Keith Pekau emerged as the GOP victor with 38.7% of the vote. Pekau later lost to Casten in the general election.
The 6th Congressional District includes parts of Cook County, eastern DuPage County, and the far Southwest Side of Chicago. It encompasses various communities such as Beverly, Mount Greenwood, Garfield Ridge, Clearing, Orland Hills, Western Springs, Orland Park, Palos Hills, Hickory Hills, Chicago Ridge, Bridgeview, Willow Springs, Indian Head Park, Tinley Park, Evergreen Park, Downers Grove, Lombard, Villa Park, Westmont, Elmhurst, Lisle, Darien, and Wheaton.
