The head of Restoration of America (ROA) asked the Republican National Committee (RNC) Chair to retract the RNC’s offer for NBC to moderate the upcoming Republican Presidential Primary Debate.

It is beyond comprehension that the RNC would give a conservative smearing, round-the-clock misinformation network like NBC the right to host a Republican presidential debate,” wrote ROA president Doug Truax in a letter to RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel.

“In case you’ve been in a coma the last few years, we live in a new world where the government, Big Tech, and establishment media are openly colluding to hide the truth and help Democrats,” Truax said. “The only way Democrats’ bad policies can survive in America is via a steady stream of propaganda.”

NBC announced earlier this month that it will host the third GOP presidential primary debate in Miami on Nov. 8. NBC News personalities Lester Holt and Kristen Welker are scheduled to be moderators.

Salem Radio Network radio host Hugh Hewitt also is scheduled to moderate.

A resident of Downers Grove, Ill., Truax is the founder of ROA. He is a graduate of West Point and an U.S. Army veteran. In 2014, he ran in the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate seat for Illinois.

ROA is a nonprofit 501(c)3 focused on promoting the original principles of America’s founding and restoring “those principles in our government and society," said the organization's website.
