The Abundant Children & Family Services Agency is calling on the community to support their Basic Needs Drive, aimed at helping families facing tough choices between essential medicine and basic necessities. The agency highlights the struggles of families who cannot afford household essentials not covered by their food card.

In an effort to address this issue, the agency is seeking donations of various items that can be found at local retailers or dollar stores. These items include toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, body wash, combs, brushes, shampoo, conditioner, bleach, laundry detergent, dish detergent, clothes baskets, toilet paper, and paper towels.

The Abundant Children & Family Services Agency emphasizes that every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference in the lives of these families. Donations can be dropped off at two locations in Wheaton, Illinois - The Wheaton Oaks Building on 416 East Roosevelt Road, and Suite 200 on 130 West Liberty Drive. The drive will run until October 31, 2023.

Community members are encouraged to visit www.abundantcfsa.org for more information or if they have any questions about the Basic Needs Drive. By joining forces and taking action, the community can make a meaningful impact and extend a helping hand to their neighbors in need.

"Our goal is to provide essential items to those who are struggling and to alleviate some of the burdens they face every day," says the Abundant Children & Family Services Agency. "We are grateful for the support and generosity of the community, and we hope that together we can make a difference in the lives of these families."

The Basic Needs Drive serves as a reminder that poverty is a pressing issue within the community, and that it requires collective efforts to address it. By supporting this initiative, community members can demonstrate their compassion and make a positive impact on the lives of families in need.

In the words of the agency, "Together, we can make a meaningful impact. Act today and help neighbors in need. Thank you for your generosity and compassion!"
