Francis “Frank” Biden, President Joe Biden’s 69-yeard-old younger brother, was outed for using the infamous term “the big guy” to address his older brother in meetings with Federal Signal Corp. executives.
“I thought, ‘OK, great, your brother is the vice president,’” former Federal Signal Corp. executive Matthew Brady said, according to the New York Post after Frank Biden paused meetings to take calls from his 80-year-old brother.
Brady worked at Federal Signal Corp. from 2006 to 2017 as a vice president and president of safety and security.
Joe Biden was infamously linked to the “The Big Guy” moniker in an email found on Hunter Biden’s laptop in which 10% interest in a Chinese energy company was held for him in a deal.
According to IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley, he was disallowed from investigating such business deals.
"I would say that they limited certain investigative leads that could have potentially provided information on the president of the United States," Shapley said, CBS News reported.
Frank Biden is a non-attorney senior adviser for the Boca Raton-based Berman Law Group.
“Mr. Biden worked in the Clinton Administration as a Director of Legislative and Congressional Affairs and was involved in the election campaigns of his brother, Joe Biden, and nephew, Joseph R. Biden III, as an advisor and unpaid campaign coordinator over many years. For the past several years, Mr. Biden served as the Director of a major philanthropy in Central America providing pediatric AIDS relief, building homes, and providing scholarships for the poorest of the poor. He has been a Member of Board of Advisors at EXO U Inc since August 2014,” Frank Biden’s bio on the law firm’s website reads.
It is unclear what business Frank Biden was working on with Federal Signal Corp., which is headquartered in Oak Brook.
Federal Signal Corp. employs an estimated 3,300 people and is a producer of many products purchased by governments including street sweeper vehicles, public address systems, emergency vehicle equipment and emergency vehicle lighting.
Federal Signal Corp. has a long history of spending dollars on lobbying efforts in relation to “federal storm water regulations and requirements” for which it retained The Accord Group, according to The Hill reporting in 2007.
