Enrollment Analysis: White students comprised 68.9% of Elmhurst School District 205’s student body in 2021-22 school year

There were 5,628 white students enrolled in Elmhurst School District 205 in the 2021-22 school year, 2.9% less than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Elmhurst School District 205 welcomed 8,599 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 68.9% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Elmhurst School District 205 roughly covers schools within DuPage County and has a main office in Elmhurst.

Among the 13 schools in Elmhurst School District 205, York Community High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 1,898 students.
