Ian Prior is engaging in the speaking event “Taking on the School Board Bullies & Winning,” hosted by Breakthrough Ideas.

Prior will meet with participants from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Abbington Banquets, located at 3 South 002 IL Route 53 in Glen Ellyn on Tuesday, March 14.

General admission is $20 and includes appetizers and a cash bar.

VIP tickets are $150 each and include a private Q&A, appetizers and a free drink.

Breakthrough Ideas has an online portal where attendees can RSVP.

Prior is a Loudoun County parent who exposed the teaching of Critical Race Theory in public schools.

He is also a senior adviser at America First Legal, executive director of Fight for Schools and a former Trump Justice Department official.

In a recent meeting, Prior and other members of Fight for Schools detailed a special grand jury’s findings regarding the mishandling of two sexual assault cases that resulted in the firing of Loudoun County Schools superintendent Scott Ziegler and a charge against the school system’s public information officer.

“Are you going to rail against critical race theory and Policy 8040 and books in the library? I’m sure people are going to do that and that is their right, but the problems go much deeper, and the problems need to be fixed and it shouldn’t be a partisan issue,” he said.

“They should be something that people say, ‘yeah we should set up a system where the marketplace of ideas thrive’ and I think that needs to be the mission and everyone needs to be rowing in the same direction going forward to make sure that happens.”

Since exposing what many deem is leftist indoctrination in public schools, Prior has seen lash back from leftist interest groups.

"I learned from a reporter that I had been put on a list in a private Facebook group that was looking to expose people and hack their websites for speaking out on among other things Critical Race Theory," Prior said.
