Midwestern University Glendale Campus Opens Ossuary | Midwestern University

Whole body donation is integral to the training of tomorrow’s healthcare professionals. At Midwestern University, the Body Donation Program was established to provide students with a foundational knowledge of human anatomy. Through these generous donations, students strengthen their skills in medical and surgical techniques and study human structure from a whole-person perspective. To thank our donors, Midwestern University’s Glendale Campus held a Celebration of Life ceremony and opened its Ossuary on November 5 in the garden across from the main entrance to campus.

Sandra Inouye, Ph.D., Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Director Anatomical Laboratories, and Professor of Anatomy, College of Graduate Studies, welcomed faculty, staff, students, and the families of the honored donors. The ceremony ended with students presenting reflections, sharing a letter of appreciation, and giving vocal performances to further thank the donors for their generous gifts.
