The Bloomingdale Chamber OffersTwo Scholarship Types!
The Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce, along with contributions from several area businesses, will award scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,500 to graduating high school, current college (freshman through junior years), or current technical school students.
Also, money is being set aside for a Trade School Scholarship for students enrolling in a trade school or certification program such as cosmetology, car mechanics, HVAC, etc.
College Scholarship applicants must be planning to continue their education on a full-time basis at an accredited post-secondary college, university, or 2-year college in the United States to be eligible.
- High school graduating senior or continuing post-secondary school student (freshmen through junior years).
- You must be a full-time student (i.e., minimum of 12 quarter hours or 15 semester hours).
- Academic Merit (must have 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA to be considered)
- High school graduating senior or continuing vocational/technical student.
- Academic Merit (must have a 2.0 out of 4.0 GPA to be considered)
- A Chamber member employee (or their immediate family member) OR
- A Resident of Bloomingdale
A committee from the general membership of the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce will evaluate applications based on the established criteria. Recommendations from this committee will be tabulated to determine the winners.
