Chief Brian Cunningham introduces new records manager Erin LaMantia | Village of Woodridge
The Woodridge Village Board of Trustees learned that a recent hire in the police department is receiving praise from Police Chief Brian Cunningham.
During its Nov. 17 meeting, which was streamed on YouTube, Cunningham told the board Erin LaMantia was hired for a position in the city’s police records management department, adding "It's been the hardest position for us to fill."
LaMantia previously worked at the police department in Addison, where she received outstanding recommendations. He also noted that she started the position as the department was changing a system it had used for many years, and LaMantia proved to be a quick learner.
“Since she’s been hired I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been contacted by the command staff and the personnel in Addison about how great she is,” Cunningham told the board.
Cunningham lauded LaMantia as "one of the best hires we've made in a long long time."
LaMantia offered her gratitude to the board for the chance to work in the village, and she introduced her team, thanking them for their welcome.
