CLARENDON HILLS DOWNTOWN TREE DECORATING CONTEST!

HELP MAKE OUR VILLAGE FESTIVE WHILE RAISING FUNDS TO BENEFIT CLARENDON HILLS CHAMBER AND CH LIONS CLUB

JOIN IN ON COMMUNITY FUN: DECORATE A TREE AS A FAMILY, ORGANIZATION, OR BUSINESS

Tree Availability & tree locations first come, first served basis.

CHRISTMAS TREE CONTESTANTS RECEIVE:

  1. A REAL LIVE Tree to decorate at one of the pre-designated locations in the Village. Once you have completed the sponsor sign up form, you will receive an auto generated response with a link to the Tree Location Picker Form to select your tree location. Please complete the tree allocation form immediately and reserve your tree location! The allocation form lists a brief description of each tree location and whether or not it has access to power. Delay in completing this step will result in your tree being assigned to you from the locations that are remaining.

  2. A Sign in front of your tree with your Family (last name only), Organization, or Business name.

ENTRY FEE AND TREE PURCHASE COST: $175 per tree

TOP 3 WINNERS WILL RECEIVE BRAGGING RIGHTS AND A GIFT CARD TO A CLARENDON HILLS BUSINESS

CONTESTANTS’ TREES ARE:

  • Setup and ready to go. All you have to do is bring you decorating crew, decorations and creativity. 

  • In place through the month of December

  • 4-5 feet tall

  • Located at pre-designated locations around town

DECORATING GUIDELINES:

  • Trees must be decorated by the Participating Group or individuals.

  • Trees must be fully decorated BEFORE FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2022 when the Holiday Walk & Market, and Village tree lighting ceremony take place.

  • You will be notified when the trees are in place and ready for decorating. Your allocated tree number, location, and whether or not your tree has access to power will be confirmed at that time.

  • No glass or breakable ornaments! Decorations that can withstand the elements are ideal.

  • The Chamber and Village do not provide lights.

  • Some trees do not have access to power.

  • If using electric powered lights - ONLY LED LIGHTS are allowed.

  • For trees that do not have access to power - solar lights are allowed.
