Parents are requesting Glenbard School District 87 remove obscene books from the school districts libraries.

One parent Cedra Censhaw, a one-time State Senate candidate, tore into school board embers for supporting the inclusion of graphic sexual novels in the district’s libraries. Upon seeing a presentation board filled with graphic sexual imagery from the books at question Crenshaw had created to accompany her comments school board members tried to dissuade her from speaking.

“I haven’t even started yet,” Crenshaw said to the board. Two board members chimed in.

“No, no, no. I just. If this is about books, I. I see the titles on books that I've been reading. And so I just wanted to make sure that we're on agenda items,” Board President Margaret DeLaRosa of Glen Ellyn said.

Crenshaw muscled through the interruptions.

“I'm requesting tonight that you discuss removing this obscene and pornographic material from the libraries,” Crenshaw told Glenbard School District 87 board members at the Nov. 14 board meeting.

“Now, I know you can see the images on this board in front of you, and that's why you didn't want me to say anything. OK? The graphic novel Genderqueer shows drawings about a girl wanting to be a boy from this book.”

“Quote: 'We have moved on to sexting at work. I got a new strap on harness today. I can't wait to put it on you it'll fit my favorite dildo perfectly. You're going to look so hot. I can't wait to have your cock in my mouth. I'm going to give you the blowjob of your life, and then I want you inside of me.’”

“This is in the library. One of the images in this graphic novel, then shows two boys are considered to be a boy and a girl giving a blowjob. There's images of the character masturbating while imagining two men having sex. Another graphic shows the character with her sister having a discussion about tasting her vagina slime and then shows an image of the main character doing just that.”

“Another book in the Glenbard library, All Boys Aren't Blue.”

“Quote: 'He reached his hand down and pulled out my dick. It quickly went to giving me head. I just sat back and enjoyed it. As I could tell, he was too. He didn't know I was a virgin, and I did my best to act dominant like my favorite porn star.” “Another passage reads: 'For the first few minutes, we dry-humped and grinded. I was behind him with my stomach on his back as we kissed. He pulled out a condom and lube. I had never done it before. I had one point of reference, though, and that was seven years plus of watching pornography. Although the porn was heterosexual, it was enough of a reference point to get the job done.’”

“Now you tell me, what is your written justification for having filth like this in the library? Some of you up here claim to be Christians. One of you claims to be a pastor.”

Crenshaw’s comments were pointed at James E. Shannon of Glen Ellyn who is a pastor at Peoples Community Church in Glen Ellyn.

“I don't claim to be,” Shannon retorted.

Crenshaw continued with her comments. “What are you talking about? God will not be mocked. God will not be mocked. Repent. Get this filth out of the libraries. And if you're a pastor, if you're a Christian, do something about this. Get it out of the library. Shame on you,” Crenshaw said.

Awake IL posted a link to Crenshaw’s comments on Twitter.

"Watch this hero (first commenter) from @GlenbardDist87 BOE meeting last night! Afterward, board President threatens to cut public comment short purely out of spite. @Moms4Liberty @realchrisrufo (2nd speaker mentions you),” Awake IL tweeted.

Others got involved in commenting on the issue. “Sick!!!!! All these administrators should be ashamed!!!! Wth are they pushing this agenda!!! Let’s see if they’d like their children/grand children to see this garbage!!!” Glen Ellyn resident Melissa Schultz said on the video’s Youtube comment section.

Crenshaw has been outspoken on other matters in front of the school board. She is a mother of four children in the district and has come out against the administrators improperly supporting Black Lives Matter and gender identity issues.
